A judge’s primary role is to be a fair and impartial decision-maker, not a lawyer.  Less than 10% of JPs in Texas are licensed attorneys. 

The traditional purpose of a Justice of the Peace (JP) is to be “A person of The People”, someone relatable who can help citizens resolve disputes and find justice without needing attorneys. This demands strong judgment, integrity, and a genuine desire to seek truth.

While a law degree can be helpful, it is far more important to possess sound judgment, personal integrity, and a deep commitment to actually living by and applying the law. That is what earns the public’s trust.

What sets me apart is my proven character, strong moral compass, and the genuine trust I have built throughout this community as you can read below. My unwavering dedication to truth, fairness, and real justice is exactly why I will be an outstanding Justice of the Peace for the people of Comal County Precinct 3.
